Long time away

Hello! It has been sooo long since I posted anything on here but I have been here, quietly (mostly) reading all your blogs.

Lots has changed since the last time I posted. The saddest news is that I lost my beloved 'slinky-cat' :( He was hit by a car earlier this year which as you can imagine, was just awful. I struggled with seeing his cheeky face on my blog but have decided he needs to stay.

Better news is that I have moved house and am living with my best friend in a nice little house and have a whole craft room (although it has been a bit neglected so far!)

My friend, Afs brought along her dog and cat so now we have three fur-babies! Meet Ollie the cat who looks very much like Slinky but isn't related and Henry who is a big baby.


My lovely Sally dog is now 16 years old but is doing well and still believes she is a puppy sometimes. This is an old picture of Sally and Slinky.


Anyway, enough rambling for now! I promise to be back soon with some photo's of the crafty stuff I have done!

Flower thank you card

This is a thanks card I made . I have done it in a flower shape and the middle part of the flower slides open on the brad. Dawny P generously stamped me some images when I won her blog candy so I was having a little play with them, This one is fab but I haven't really done it justice at all! Much more practice needed! I love the little 'thanks' charm which was also in my blog candy :)

Hello everyone :) I made this quicky card last night for my step brother. I think it's harder to make mens cards so really must make more of them!

Pooh Birthday!

It's my sisters birthday tomorrow and every year she has to have a winnie the pooh card! It's a challenge making a different one each year. I also wanted to try Friday Sketchers challenge, my first ever challenge! Here is the one I have made :)
